That's why when I heard he was taking on Italo Disco, one of the most fun styles of electronic music ever made, I knew I'd love it and I do. Dimi captures the charm of Italo, combined with his own inimitable vibe to make an EP of danceable, drivable, jams. I hope he revisits this style again. 5 tracks is not enough

My parents told me that up until I was 3 months old we were living above a discotheque. I don't know if that's the reason for me loving music (I don't think it is), but it's a nice thing to mention.

Italo disco in the early '90s was super popular in Greece. I remember listening to the music on the radio, my uncle played it in his bar La Luna and my parents danced to it.

I have lots of beautiful memories from those summers back in the '90s, and the music of course played a huge role.

That's why as I in the past created an album that was a tribute to my uncle's bar La Luna (check it here if you haven't already : dimikaye.bandcamp.com/album/la-luna ), now I am releasing a tribute EP to the italo-disco music we used to listen back then, as the backdrop to the creation of so many beautiful memories.

I named this EP Disco 21 because that was the name of the disco my parents were living above when I was 3 months old.
